eID <\/strong>SPID<\/a> is the Italian solution that enables users to use a single digital identity to access all online public administration services from electronic devices. The legal head of an organisation can apply for and use his\/her digital identity SPID to access online services. For this purpose, it is also possible to equip their employees with digital identities for the professional use<\/a> of the legal person.The eID system doesn’t include a digital proxy service.<\/p>\n ePayment <\/strong>PagoPA<\/a> is an initiative that allows citizens and businesses to realise electronic payments to the public administration on the basis of rules, standards and tools defined by the Agency for Digital Italy (AgID) and accepted by public administration bodies, banks, post offices and other payment institutions.<\/p>\n Messaging<\/strong> Certified email (PEC)<\/a> is the channel through which it is possible to send official documents to participate in both tenders and competition notices, to stipulate contracts of any kind, to communicate with the institutions. The PEC is used by citizens, businesses, professionals and public administrations in various fields: from the legal one to healthcare and banking. There is no government SMS service in place.<\/p>\n Transparency <\/strong>Citizens are able to consult their data incorporated into the National Register of the Resident Population (ANPR)<\/a> by logging in to the ANPR website. It is foreseen that more registers are included and made accessible to citizens. There is no digital service allowing citizens to have insight in their ongoing affairs.<\/p>\n General Digital Services<\/strong> No systematic measurement of digital form submission nor user satisfaction has been found.<\/p>\n While some data on the uptake of SPID is publicly available, the Digital Government MetaMonitor <\/em>suggests improvements regarding completeness, machine readability, and update frequency. The same applies for data on the uptake of the national systems for ePayment and electronic messaging. No data on digital form submission and user satisfaction are available.
