eID<\/strong>.With its Citizen Card<\/a>, Portugal started implementing its digital identity scheme in 2007, being one of the first countries to combine five different identification numbers in one card and introduce digital certificates. Transparency <\/strong>The Interoperability Platform IAP<\/a> authentication provider allows users to authenticate with the Citizen Card, on websites or portals duly accredited and authorized for that purpose. Through this functionality it is possible for the citizen to authorize the online consultation of certain data<\/a> with perfect knowledge of the purpose of the consultation and the data consulted.<\/p>\n

General Digital Services <\/strong>The ePortugal portal<\/a> lists several services that are digitally available. No systematic measurement of user satisfaction has been found.<\/p>\n


Currently, no public data is available on user satisfaction and digital form submission in Portugal. The Digital Government MetaMonitor<\/em> records data in all other categories.
